Here is a simple way how you could install Android Apps on Windows 11 without even logging into the App store! Wondering How? Yes! it is possible but before that, your computer needs to meet a few System Requirements that I am gonna list below!
System Requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 11
- RAM: Minimum 8GB to avoid Lags & Interruptions
- Processor: At least a DUO CORE is Mandatory
- Clock Speed: 3.20GHz
- Country/Region: U.S ( Even if it is not, change it to the U.S & later you can revert back to your original)
Now you need to activate some Windows Optional Features and activate virtualization on your Bios in order to use Amazon App Store You will need Android SubSystem installed on Windows 11
Procedure:
To “Enable Windows Optional Features”:
- Go to the Start Menu
- Type OptionalFeatures.exe in the Search Box & open it.
- Select Virtual Machine Platform and click OK.
Restart your PC:
After a successful Restart, now we need to get the Amazon App Store & in order to get that we need to change the Windows System language by following the simple methods mentioned below:
- Advertisement -
- Go to Start Menu
- Type “Location” in the Search Box and select “Change Country or Region”, and a window opens.
- In that window select “Country or Region” tab and change it to the United States!
Get the Amazon App Store & android apps on windows 11:
After Installing, Close it (Not needed anymore) & You can revert back/change the location to your original location now!
Now follow the simple step by step process as mentioned below:
- Go to Start Menu
- Type Android in Search Box and you will see the Android Subsystem app.
- Open the Android Subsystem App.
- Enable Developer Mode.
- You will get an IP and door in the developer mode tab like this 127.0.0.1:48406 (Not exactly the same)
Download this SWA_Setup.zip which could be easier to install APK. Just by Pick and Drop!
To install, Just Pick APK and Drop over batch DropToInstallApk.bat.
Open the zip and extract this tool to Desktop.
NOTE: Not all Android apps will work but only a few of them need a google system or smartphone Android system!!
Open the SWA_Setup folder, open the batch files (.bat) like text files, and change the IP and door to your IP and door that you get from the Developer Mode Option( Check the above image to see where IP and door are) Save batch( Check Image below to see where you must change in both the batch files)
After the above process has been done, the first thing to be done is to open files in the Android SubSystem window, to start the Android system before executing the setup batch – SettingUp.bat (Refer to the image below) or Install any APK through pick and drop. When an app is already installed, then you need to start only that App to start Windows Android System.

There is also another way to download, that is through this website called Apkmirror. Here search your APK, Download it, and Change the name to a short name because the Apkmirror site by default gives a huge name to APKs which sometimes displays an error while installing…
Paste inside the SWA_Setup folder, pick the APK and drop over “DropToInstallApk.bat” and it is Done!
